Rajinikanth’s will be seen playing the role of a don Kabaleeswaran in stylish look again with a beard and wearing a suit which suits him well in this film while Dhansika will be seen as a daughter in this flick. Kabali will be releasing over 300+ screens in Indonesia by Malik Streams who recently released Theri film.
Kabali will run a school and help children who are affected by the gang wars. Makers shot most part of the film in Malaysia.We will see Rajinikanth as an actor, not a showman performing tricks that have gone stale over the years.

The film was mostly shot in Malaysia while smaller scenes were also filmed in Hong Kong and Bangkok. Principal photography for the film began on 21 August 2015 in Chennai.
Kabali will have a worldwide release in Tamil alongside dubbed versions in Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. The film will also be released simultaneously in Indonesia and Singapore. The film was also concurrently released by a Malaysian media company named Malik Streams Productions and Distribution in Malay for exclusive screening in Malaysia along with the original Tamil version.
Additionally, talks are under way to release the film in parallel in Hong Kong and China. Kabali will be dubbed in Thai and Chinese as well. The film will also premiere at the Le Grand Rex in Paris, France. Jaya TV bought the satellite rights of the film.
