The injured students have been rushed to a nearby hospital and are being treated. This Incident Happens When the driver of the school van allegedly ignored train and went through, causing the van to collide with the Varanasi-Allahabad passenger train.The police have reached the scene and an investigation has been launched. According to a report by Navbharat Times, the Railways had put a gangman in charge of manning the crossing.
Three children are said to be critical.The report further says that the man had indicated the driver of the van to stop, but the signal was missed by the driver, resulting in the accident.
