Gelo is basically a movie presenting the problems of the farmers.This movie presenting the problems of the farmers living in the Malwa belt of Punjab. Gelo is the story of a girl who’s name is Gurmel Kaur. The Movie is Based on a journey of Gurmel Kaur, who had a promising life, full of love, struggles, ends up in the darkness and she belongs to the Malwa belt of Punjab. 

we can see Jaspinder Cheema as Gelo, Pavan Malhotra as Balwant Singh, Gurjit Singh as Raama, Dilavar Sidhu as Jagtar im the  movie. Real life couple Gurjit and Jaspinder will be seen together for the first time on screen in the film. The ‘Jodi’ is quite excited and says that they came close during the shoot of this film and eventually got married early this year.

The film story, screenplay, and dialogues were written and directed by Manbhavan Singh. A venture of Celebration Studioz and Sonark Solutions, the film was produced by Nidhi M Singh and Surinder Singh Sodhi.
