Currently, Janatha Garage team has almost finished the shoot of the film and is getting ready for release theaters on 2nd September.the film stars Nithya Menen and Samantha playing the female leads. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for the film. Malayalam actor Mohanlal is seen as NTR’s uncle in the film.

Lahari Music has acquired its rights of Janatha Garage Audio.They tweeted: "We are very happy to be associated with Janatha Garage.. Audio from 12th.
Janatha Garage is presently shooting a song in Kerala from the film. "The song is being shot on the trio while they're traveling on bikes. It's a four-day schedule in Kerala and the song is shaping up well as it's shot in picturesque locales of Kerala," said producer Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili, one of the producers of Mythri Movie Makers
Janatha Garage went on the floors in February 2016 and the film unit has already shot most of the movie in Hyderabad and Mumbai. The team is now busy canning a couple of song sequences and other important scenes in Kerala. Junior NTR,Samantha, and Nithya Menen, who are playing the lead roles, are having great fun on the sets of the movie in Athirapally.
