Joker Tamil Movie Review: Joker is the latest 2016 upcoming Indian Tamil language social satire film, written and directed by Raju Murugan whose previously directed Cuckoo and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The film features Guru Somasundaram as the protagonist, while newcomers Ramya Pandian and Gayathri are doing the female lead roles. Chelladurai, Ramasamy and Bala Murugan are doing supporting roles. The soundtrack was composed by Sean Roldan and it received highly positive reviews from critics.The film is Scheduled to release on 12th August 2016. Joker movie is the story of a common man. Much often, people who question the system are considered as Jokers. The story is narrated by a middle-aged man. The film revolves around a man who lives below the poverty line and feels that people should have the power to not just elect their representatives but also to send them back if they are corrupt. This film is mainly based on the current situation of our country, especially politics. The way hero brings the truth and true nature of the spoiled politicians makes rest of the plot.

The film was completely shot in the regions surround Dharmapuri in late 2015. Talking about the film, Raju Murugan says, ‘This film was completely shot in Dharmapuri. We’ve also managed to get the localities of Dharmapuri to play key roles in the film. The problems of modern India have been narrated in a humorous manner'.

Guru Somasundaram, the protagonist of this movie says, 'Working with Raju Murugan was very good and organic. Organic means, the procedures involved in filmmaking`, which included exhaustive script discussions. In the pre-production stage itself, we decided on everything, from the look of a character to the manner of dialogue delivery to the costumes to everything. We completed 90% of the film through rehearsals and then only went to shoot. It was fantastic working with a director like Raju Murugan who is very clear about what he wanted.'
