The movie is based on the routine life of youngsters and the problems faced by them who all lives over kaasimedu, royapuram, and icehouse leading places in Chennai. hero plays a role of a gana singer and as an Ajith fan. the movie revolves around the incident happens to the hero and how he deals with it.

Anand says, “I play the role of a gaana singer who lives in a Housing Board colony. Ashmita of Pazhaya Vannaarapettai (2015) fame plays my love interest and Ramki plays a stylish and quiet villain. Rajendran and Yogi Babu are also a part of the film. Set in North Madras, Atti portrays the reality of city people. The movie has all commercial elements, as well.”

The actor was also all praise for the film’s music director Sundar C Babu. “Music will be one of the highlights. I’ve even sung one of the songs. I am very happy with the way he has composed the peppy numbers,” Anand adds.

Biju Menon and Asha Sarath play the roles of the parents of the character played by Asif Ali.

Anuraga Karikkin Vellam is a light-hearted movie. It has romance and is also about the relationship between a police officer (Biju) and his architect son (Asif). Asha Sharath plays Biju’s wife.
